I am delighted to be part of the anniversary issue of brutkasten – the leading information medium for start-ups, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
Why is conflict management so relevant for startups? Conflicts are one of the most common reasons why innovative ideas fail before they can even get off the ground. Right after a lack of demand (42%) and financing problems (29%), conflict is the cause of early failure, accounting for 23% of cases.

Lack of communication: Misunderstandings often occur in dynamic teams.
Unclear roles and responsibilities: This quickly leads to tensions between the founders.
Different visions: What connects at the beginning becomes a challenge later.
Time and success pressure: Under pressure, emotions come into play, which can fuel conflicts.
Many conflicts could be resolved or even avoided – with the right conflict culture. You can read more about this in the article in brutkasten .
A big thank you to the great team at brutkasten, especially to Momcilo Nikolic , for the opportunity to be part of this issue.
